After 1 hour driving we will arrive directly to Lindos. The drop off & pick up point in Lindos is at the main square (Krana square) of Lindos. The driver will inform you how to reach by foot or by shuttle bus the center of the village and the exact time of the departure.

Lindos Village Relaxing Tour 

### DESCRIPTION

Leaving Mandraki Port, we are sailing on the East coast of the island of Rhodes and before arriving in Lindos village we are going to stop at **Anthony Quinn Bay** for 20 minutes and you will be able to dive off the boat into the refreshing clear waters of the bay which has a width of 10 meters and a length of 250 meters with rocks, pebbles and fine sand both inside and outside the sea. Pine trees, with some found right at the sea’s edge, play an important role in the gorgeous emerald hues of the environment.

We continue sailing until you arrive at the most picturesque and popular village of Rhodes **LINDOS**, with its white washed houses built on the hillside, on top of which dominates the Acropolis.

During your 3 hours stay in Lindos you can explore the village strolling through the small narrow streets dotted with wonderful souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants. Climbing to the Acropolis, can either be done on foot, or by hiring the traditional "Lindos Taxi", the donkeys! You can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal waters in the bay of Lindos.

On the return, an extra swimming stop for 20 minutes (diving off the boat) will be made at **Tsambika beach**, one of the most beautiful beaches of Rhodes, very popular but still unspoiled, with white fine sand and crystal water. The perfect way to finish your day cruise!

Lindos Cruising

### DESCRIPTION

**Halki island** is an ideal way to spend your day in one of the most authentic Greek islands! On arrival, Halki will impress you with how traditional and authentic island it is. You should also know that Halki is characterized by UNESCO as **"The island of Peace and Friendship"**. You can walk around the traditional stone - paved alleys of Halki with the aristocratic mansions, swim at its crystal turquoise waters, or taste the local seafood delicacies. 

We provide transfers from Evangelismos Church - Mandraki Port and drop off you to Kamiros Skala Port. During the short 45 minutes travel with a small Ferry boat you will have the opportunity to observe the panoramic rocky shoreline of west Rhodes, the Castle of Kritinia and mountains so your travelling to Halki will seem like a breeze. Approaching Halki a colorful settlement appears at the bottom of the surrounding hills. The colored 19th c. neoclassical amphitheatrical mansions, the three windmills at the far left, and the ruins of a Venetian fortress at the peak of one of the mountains will leave you breathless!

**Nimborio** which is the capital and the Harbor of the island is one of the most beautiful neoclassical settlements in Greece and an ideal place to wander around since the absence of vehicles makes Halki a peaceful place to be! Walk around the little Port where all the fishermen leave their boats and spread their catch! Don't miss to visit **Saint Nicolas church** with the impressive black and white cobblestone and its **Bell Tower**, the imposing **City Hall** with its **Clock Tower** and the spectacular double staircase and of course the traditional **House - Museum**, if you wish to learn more about the lives of the people of this island. 

You have plenty of free time so you can choose to walk approx. 500 m to the most popular beach **Pondamos** with fine white sand. The road to the right will lead you straight to the beach! It is organized with beach loungers and umbrellas and has a tavern with local delicacies. Or you can turn left and walk through the colorful small houses and after approx. 500m reach the **Ftenagia** beach with its emerald waters and silhouette of Rhodes at the horizon. Few umbrellas are available and a gorgeous taverna for a cold drink and seafood.

During our panoramic City tour we will be passing through the** Three Windmills** that were used in the past to grind grains brought from vessels that moored in the harbor of Rhodes. The island used to have a large number of windmills, possibly 13 or 14, but only three remain nowadays; all of them are extensively renovated offering an amazing background for photos!

The journey through the famous **Mandraki harbor** and around the formidable Old Town city walls feels like stepping into a time portal; you will be transported in antiquity, when the ancient Mandraki harbor was built and in Medieval Greece through the various monumental buildings constructed by the Italians. The Knights of Rhodes moored their fleet in this harbor that has become a home to modern yachts.

**The sculptures of Rhodian Deer,** a stag and a doe, guard Mandraki Harbor standing on slim columns on either side of its entrance, where the statue of Colossus once stood, as it is believed.

Passing from **Monte Smith**, you can enjoy a panoramic City view and sea shore view; see the ruins of t**he Temple of Apollo**, the impressive outdoor **Ancient Stadium** and **the Amphitheatre**. The Acropolis, ancient stadium and the Odeon (called “Odeion” in Greek) carry such a rich history and visiting them amidst the color of the sunset adds a unique, romantic charm. The panoramic view from Monte Smith over the New Town and the Aegean Sea is stunning, especially as the sun sets.

At the end of our 1 hour & 30 minutes panoramic City tour, we stop at one of the main gates of the famous** Medieval City of Rhodes**, better known as the **Old Town**, that has been characterized as a monument of world cultural heritage by UNESCO.

Then we continue our excursion on foot under the guidance of our Official Guide; for 30 minutes you will travel through the island’s medieval history by strolling through the famous Street of the Knights all the way up to the Grand Master’s Palace for a photo stop! The theoretical training takes place at the dive centre and the dive at Kavourakia beach in Kallithea area.. The maximum depth we reach in DSD is about 6 meters and the duration of the dive approximately 30 minutes (including underwater skills according to PADI’s safety standards).

The DSD program is available for ages of 10 years old or older.

Symi island (3.5 hours) & Panormitis Monastery (1 hour) day cruise 

Symi island with Panormitis, is one of the most popular day cruises because has plenty of history and culture to see as well. No place is this better exemplified than at the **Panormitis Monastery **overlooks the bay. As you approach the Monastery, you will hear church bells ringing, warmly welcoming all the pilgrims, explorers, holidaymakers & curious travelers. It was built in the late of 18th century and this masterpiece is certainly worth to visit! The Holy Monastery is a treasury of the Greek-Orthodox culture. The contemporary church was built in 1783 and hosts the miraculous all silver-plated icon of Archangel Michael. The main architectural feature of the Monastery is the impressive bell tower, a mixture of Baroque and Renaissance styles. The colors alone will wow you and the setting on the water of the Panormitis Port is breathtaking. During your 1 hour staying, don’t miss to visit the museum inside and grab a refreshing drink at the café in front of the sea.

While approaching the port of **Symi**, after travelling 1.5 hours approx. you will have the overwhelming feeling of entering a perfectly painted image of a scenic traditional village. As a rule, people remain agape and cannot take their eyes off the spectacular sight. A galore of two and three stored traditional stone houses, painted in all colors but mostly in indigo, ochre and terracotta, with red tiled roofs and cute little balconies with railings set up the peculiarity of the island. 

The island of** **Symi** **is adorned with traditional houses and charming neoclassical buildings that feature peaked roofs of red tile and wonderful balconies, authentic fishermen boats, private yachts & sailboats & folk and art shops, stalls with sponges & wooden carvings! During your 3 hours and 30 minutes staying at Symi, you can relax walking along the colorful coastline, swimming at the small beach of Symi which is organized with sunbeds and different of choices of local sea view restaurants, tasting seafood under the sounds of the waves. All these restaurants and cafes surround a beautiful bay filled with small boats and the sparkling blue water of the Aegean sea.

Get your camera out and snap some photos! Symi is more than words or photos can say! Symi island & Panormitis Monastery Day Cruise

### DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to see a unique sight, hundreds of colorful butterflies flying around in a mesmerizing valley? This is the tour for you! First, we will have a short drive and ascend to the top of the 267 meters high Filerimos Hill, situated about 15 km from Rhodes Town, where we will stay for 1 hour. The hill overlooking the small town of Ialyssos and the bay of Ixia and Trianda is the place where once stood the Doric City of ancient Ialyssos. Ialyssos was one of the three most famous ancient Rhodes cities. An abundance of ruins dating back to the end of the 3rd millennium BC, as well as settlements and cemeteries dating back to the Mycenaean – Minoan period prove the surrounding area was inhabited.

Arriving at the top of the hill, you will see a well-organized parking lot. At the right side you will notice the ruins of the ancient Ialyssos and to the left side a small kiosk with souvenirs and beverages. You are free to decide to either enter the Archaeological site (at the left) or walk (on the right) the path enjoying the panoramic view over Ialyssos. Either way, you won’t be alone! You will be accompanied by the mating cries of peacocks!

 You can visit the monastery of Our Lady and the remains of the ancient Acropolis of Ialyssos. (The entrance fee for visiting the church is 6 euros). Visitors can walk along the “Golgotha”, a tree sheltered pathway built during the Italian period of 1912-1945, with a series of shrines representing scenes of the Holly Passion. This path accessed on foot leads to the west edge of Filerimos hill, where an enormous imposing cross emerges. One can really appreciate the outstanding view of villages and bright green valleys that are generously stretched around from the top of the Hill. This site is famous because of the lovely and quiet walkways.

Leaving Filerimos Hill, we continue our tour, visiting the Valley of the Butterflies, where we will stay for 2 whole hours to marvel at one of the most unique destinations of Rhodes. The valley is hosted at the Canyon of Pelekanos River and it is named after the butterflies inhabiting it (Panaxia Quatripunctaria/Jersey tiger moth species). The Valley was found in the 1930s by Italians who developed a beautiful 1 km path that goes through the canyon to reach the areas most densely populated by butterflies. The first studies were conducted by a German entomologist Reinhard Eiger.

It’s a unique and peaceful ecological setting, the true pride and joy of Rhodes’ natural environment, with narrow rock walkways, lakes with water-lilies, rustic bridges, clear running waters, waterfalls and resting places packed with millions of brown-red butterflies. During July, August & September, thousands of butterflies of the Panaxia genus swarm into the valley in order to reproduce. The sweet smell of the resin attracts them and when you are walking around, you will see Liquidambar trees everywhere with hundreds of Butterflies on their trunk and leaves.

We will be stopping at the parking area No2 just 50 meters away from the main entrance-reception of the valley so you can be free to walk as long as you like, relax in one of the coffee shops or buy souvenirs. Visitors can witness a spectacular phenomenon rarely occurring in nature; swarms of butterflies congregating in the valley during the final stage of their life cycle.

Butterflies, attracted by the scent of the oriental sweetgum trees in the area at the end of the wet season, cover the entire landscape. They are actually adult insects that follow the waterways and migrate here to reproduce due to the high humidity of the area, while females look for other suitable locations to lay their eggs in the early fall.

So, the Valley is basically a resting place for the butterflies! The moths cannot eat during this final phase of their life cycle, so they rest here to preserve their energy. Any loud noise can force them to fly away; consuming this valuable energy can lead them to die. You can observe them as they sleep in the tree trunks well camouflaged in black and yellow, and when they fly you will be amazed by their cheery red underwings flashing. A sight for sore eyes!

Filerimos Hill & Valley of Butterflies

### DESCRIPTION

Leaving the Port of “Mandraki”, you are visiting “**Anthony Quinn Bay**” in “**Ladiko**” , a small beach surrounded by formidable rocks. For 30 minutes you will be able to dive off the boat into the refreshing clear waters of the bay which has a width of 10 meters and a length of 250 meters with rocks, pebbles and fine sand both inside and outside the sea. Pine trees, with some found right at the sea’s edge, play an important role in the gorgeous emerald hues of the environment. The beach is perfect for people who love to swim in secluded lagoons, dive, snorkel, or just gaze on the rocks. 

Continuing along the east coast, your next stop will be at “**Tsambika beach**” and you will have the opportunity to relax and swim during these 2 hours staying. Tsambika beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Rhodes island on the east coast, with golden sand and still unspoiled. Above the bright white fine sand, rises the steep 240m high rock, on which a white chapel is enthroned.

On board, after swimming, you will enjoy a delicious buffet - lunch with a variety of Greek food.

After lunch, you will begin your return trip visiting “**Afandou Caves**” making a 30 minutes stop where once again you will be able to dive off the boat into the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Superb caves are standing around the beach, giving to the whole place a unique and magical atmosphere. The blue crystal waters in conjunction with pebble mosaic make it a beloved choice.  

Continuing northwards, you will stop 20 minutes at “**Kallithea Spa**” for a photo stop, before returning to the port. Kallithea beach is one of the most popular among the locals. It is composed of many small creeks covered with pine-trees that's why is one of the best attractions on the island. It is an ideal place for diving and snorkeling as there is abundance of marine life, with an amazing variety of fish and crystal clear emerald waters.

The theoretical training takes place at the dive centre and the dive at St. Paul’s Bay in Lindos. The maximum depth we reach in DSD is about 6 meters and the duration of the dive approximately 30 minutes (including underwater skills according to PADI’s safety standards).

The DSD program is available for ages of 10 years old or older.

After completing this first dive properly you can choose to follow us in a second dive and maximize your experience!

The average duration of this dive is 35-40 minutes depending on the air consumption.

### DESCRIPTION

Under the guidance of our Professional Guide, our journey starts with the one of the most charming destinations of Rhodes **Seven Springs** (35 minutes driving from the City), a scenic nature spot located on the East part of Rhodes island. It is named after the seven natural springs that flow into a small lake, creating a peaceful oasis amidst the surrounding pine forests. The springs, with their crystal – clear waters, contribute to the lush greenery and vibrant ecosystem of the area.

Visitors to Seven Springs can enjoy a tranquil walk along shaded pathways that wind through the forest, crossing wooden bridges and passing by babbling streams. The cool, refreshing ambiance makes it a popular retreat from the summer heat.

Our buses always stop on the main road of Seven Springs and the Guide will show you the stone – paved path to the Springs and the entrance of the tunnel, which is 10 minutes walking per way and he will also inform you with the exact time of your return. Your free time to 7 Springs is 1.15 minutes which is enough time to discover around the area.

The access to the lake is very popular for visitors and its a unique experience. With your Guide you will reach the small waterfall and the lake, walking inside the forest. If you feel adventurous enough, you can walk through a 186 meters long very narrow dark tunnel to get to the lake. The tunnel, constructed back in 1931 and leads the water of the seven springs and river Loutanis to the lake. Walking through the dark tunnel with your feet in the running fresh water is an exciting experience but don’t try it if you are claustrophobic. As an alternative route you can simply follow the walking path to the lake with your Guide.

The area also offers amenities such a coffee shop where visitors can enjoy a refreshing drink while appreciating the nature beauty. The forest is suitable for those who like walking around and it is common to sea peacocks roaming freely in this area, adding a touch of charm to the ambiance.

Whether you are seeking a peaceful stroll, a cool escape from the sun or a unique natural setting, Seven Springs is a delightful destination that combines scenic beauty, tranquility and a touch of adventure.

Leaving Seven Springs, we will continue driving (30 minutes) to **Lindos.** The drop off & pick up point in Lindos is at the main square (Krana square) of Lindos. With your Guide, you will reach by foot the center of the village and he will inform you also for the exact time of the departure. 

Walking around 20 minutes with your Guide through the village, you are going to be informed for the history of this magnificent place. After the guidance, you have the option to follow your Guide all the way up to the Acropolis and take the most spectacular photos of your tour! or you can spend your time for swimming or for a lunch.

Lindos is one of the most popular locations in Greece for the most of the visitors! At the first sight, you will admire the dramatic natural landscape which is enhanced by the picturesque quality of the town built in a more recent past. The houses of Lindos white colored, impress with their traditional architecture and decoration. The view is astonishing! Over the calm waters of a wide rocky-bay, white flat-roofed houses rise up a slope from a golden, shallow, sandy beach, forming a light belt around the north side of the hill where is enthroned Acropolis of Lindos. At a closer look you can see behind the warlike walls, a very dainty little temple which was once dedicated to the goddess Athena Lindia.

During your 3.5 hours stay you will realized that is an unforgettable day tour because of the real atmosphere, the friendly inhabitants and the lovely beaches. You can explore the village, strolling through the small narrow streets dotted with quaint boutiques, white-washed houses, wonderful souvenir shops and small bars and restaurants that boast beautiful terraces and views out to sea. Don’t miss also the donkey ride which is a very popular way to discover all the alleyways of the village of Lindos or go up to the Acropolis. The view from the top is breathtaking! For history enthusiasts, a visit to the Lindos Museum is highly recommended. It showcases artifacts and exhibits that provide insights into the ancient and medieval history of the village and the surrounded area. Don’t miss also the Church of Panagia, a significant religious site which is located in the heart of the village. **This guided tour** is your ideal opportunity to explore Rhodes, captivating West Coast and interior, home to exceptional ancient monuments, intriguing medieval forts and picturesque mountain routes. Discover the mysterious ancient site of Kamiros, the magnificent castle of Kritinia with spectacular views, the traditional wine village of Embona, the scenic route of Mt. Our journey starts with **Ancient Kamiros** (1 hour & 10 minutes) which was a city of ancient Rhodes. It’s site is on the northwest coast of the island, 3 kilometres west of the modern village of Kalavarda. The ancient city was built on three levels. At the top of the hill was the Acropolis, with the temple complex of Athena and the stoa. The main settlement was on the middle terrace, consisting of a grid of parallel streets and residential blocks. On the lower terrace are found a Doric temple, probably to Apollo, the Fountain House, with the Agora in front of it and Peribolos of the Altars, which contained dedications to various deities. During the prehistoric period the area was inhabited by Mycenaean Greeks. The city itself was founded by the Dorians. (The entrance fee is 6 euro)

We continue (40 minutes stay) with the **Castle of Kritinia**, a Venetian Castle of 16th century on a hill about 131 meters above the village of Kritinia. It’s a landscape of unspoiled beauty which offers a breath taking view of Aegean sea, the island of Halki and the islets of Strogyli, Makri, and Alimia. Due to its strategic location, which allowed complete monitoring of the sea and the thus, the activities of pirates and other enemies, the site was chosen by the Knights of the order of St. John to build the castle. Today, only the shell of the castle still survives but above the entrance of it lie the coats of arms of two Grand Masters (Grand Master D’Amboise & Grand Master Origny) of the Medieval Era. Within the walls, there are also remnants of a chapel devoted to Saint John, where you can see amazing 16th century wall paintings.

We are joining the winery – olive oil tasting and local products in a Cava in **Embona’s village** (1 hour & 15 minutes stay) in one of the oldest Wineries in Rhodes island. The wines are produced by collecting grapes from the vineyards so you can choose from different kind of wines, all of them made in Embona.

In addition, visitors can taste liqueurs, ouzo, souma with honey, masticha and pomegranate, combined with nuts and fresh fruits, at the bar for free. Olive oil is also produced and you can find honey from local producers and all kinds of cosmetics – herbs with olive oil too.

Experience the best traditional food in a local tavern in Embona’s village, during your free time. Your tour guide will provide a few recommendations. Don’t miss checking Embona’s souvenir shops for authentic handmade goods!

We will drive after to **Profitis Ilias** (20 minutes stay), a 798 meters high mountain with very interesting attractions. Its a small summer resort (called Elafos and Elafina) created fresh and relaxing by the Italians in 1929, in the heart of a forest of Aleppo pines, cedars and cypress trees populated by deer, an ideal stop for photos or coffee break. On our way to Profitis Ilias we meet an old building that was the Cottage of the Italian dictator Musollini used in the period of around World War II and we capture memorable moments at the Eleousa fountain with the famous Gizani fish, a refreshing oasis in the middle of the mountains.

Continuing, we reach **Fountouklis area** (20 minutes stay) where we will visit a Byzantine church of Saint Nikolaos. This church dates from the 14th to 15th century and is a central square building covered with a dome. What’s important in this church is the triple composition of the frescoes in the apse.

Driving East, inside the countryside and villages of Rhodes island, we arrive in **Kallithea Springs** (1 hour stay), a majestic place were known from the ancient times for the beneficial properties and of the waters gushing from the rocks around. Nowadays, completely restored and tastefully refurbished, the complex of Kallithea Springs welcomes hundred of visitors daily. It is worth seeing the facilities, swimming into the clear blue water of its coves, enjoy refreshments at the coffee shop in front of the sea or visit the Photo Gallery with older photos of the island! The incomparable monumental architecture and the magnificence of the place with its unique mosaics, the hall of the Rotunda where once thermal waters gushed, refer us, nostalgically, to another era. This tour is for those, who like the oriental style well known for shopping and bargaining traditions, a shopper’s paradise. Wander through the welcoming port dotted with cozy cafes and restaurants, visit Marmaris castle and the Archaeology Museum to see antiquities, or go straight into the Bazaar to find the best bargains for clothes, jewelry, bags, shoes, sweets, spices. Every city in Turkey has a grand bazaar because of the high demand for the local products. The city of Marmaris has also its own large market where everything is sold. Take a leisure walk around the marina as you admire the ships docked along the wharf. The marina is also lined with numerous shops and restaurants so you have the opportunity to taste the local cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere that is ideal for relaxing.

On arrival, meet with an escort who aides at customs and introduces a local Turkish guide. The guide will board you inside the bus for a scenic bus tour of the Harbor for a unique panoramic view of Marmaris, for about 1.5 hour. This tour is included and you are free to decide if you want to follow it or not. **Before Your Tour**:
- We recommend that you should be at the pick-up area (your hotel or another indicated point nearby your hotel) 10 minutes prior to your pick up time. Our driver/escort will be on time to welcome you and show your seat, in order to keep social distancing guidelines.
- Our vehicles are filled up according to governmental covid-19 law of their capacity. Those governmental laws and regulations against covid-19 infections might change, but are strictly followed at all times.
- The body temperature and wellness of all those participating in the tour (escort, driver, staff and guests) will be monitored daily, excluding and maintaining in quarantine any who display fever or other symptoms.

**On Board**:
