### **_The Experience_**

The Ancient Sunken City Tour is a combination of our Medieval Castles Nafplio Tour and our Wilderness Tour, combining the famous Ancient Sunken City, the Small Ancient Theater of Epidavros, with breathtaking and wild scenery, pine trees hanging above the turquoise colored waters of Argolida’s coastline and wonderful secluded beaches for our stops.

Departing from the port of Old Epidavros, we follow the coastline - an untouched and sublime landscape, passing by dense vegetation, stopping at pristine isolated beaches along the way towards our historical sites. Our first site is the Small Ancient Theatre of Epidavros, built in the 4th century B.C.

Our second site is none other than the Ancient Sunken City built 1200BC, also known as Argolida’s Lost Atlantis. In some places the ancient breakwater is still preserved. Only two meters in depth, this makes it a terrific location for underwater site-seeing, snorkeling, underwater pictures.

After admiring the ruins of the Sunken City, and enjoy our first snacks of the tour, we visit the stall of Athina Eco-farm where we enjoy local traditional delicacies, all produced the same way they were produced during the ancient times. The owner of the farm will share with you all the knowledge he has on the way ancient Greeks produced their products and taste the difference to the modern way of production.

When we manage to convince you to move on, we paddle to a pristine, isolated beach to have our homemade lunch. After some snorkeling, sunbathing, or why not a siesta, we can finally admire the journey back, with all senses having been satisfied and fulfilled.

Our Wild Argolida Tour is the best wilderness experience you can enjoy just 1,5 hour away from Athens. With stunning views of the Natural Environment, with unspoiled wilderness from the beginning of our tour till the end, we guaranty you will be amazed on the beauty of Argolida, at its best.

Paddling from a small beach close to Kranidi Town, we instantly start to admire the beauty all around us, the smells and sight of the dense vegetation which blends with the turquoise colored waters. There are many hidden coves with pristine, secluded beaches to explore and enjoy, away from civilization, maximizing our chances to not see any other person throughout the tour. For us, there are no more words to describe a wilderness experience. You will have to just see for yourselves.

The distance we paddle in this tour is flexible, giving us the chance to start the return depending on the group’s mood and experience level. So whether it is more relaxing or more paddling that you enjoy most, we can amend the program of the tour to the group’s needs.

Sea Kayak - Wild Argolida Tour

### **_The Experience_**

Our Medieval Castles Nafplio Sea Kayak Tour is probably our flagship tour, paddling from the first capital of modern Greece, with 4 different fortresses in our view.

All of them rich in history and folklore stories from the ancient times, to medieval and more recent times. This is probably a global originality, and we are proud to offer this tour, at a breathtaking, dominant scenery.

The first site we visit is the famous fort of Bourtzi, built in 1473, on a tiny inlet right in front of the port. The importance of this castle throughout the years and the battles it has seen, makes it an ideal location for the first historical tales and folklore.

After enjoying the magnificent site, we paddle towards the old town of Nafplio, under the cannons of the Old Town’s 1st line of fortification, while the UNESCO World Heritage fortress of Palamidi dominates the view right above it. As soon as we exit the port, we paddle along the ancient road of Nafplio, under Akronauplia fortress, and are rewarded with the breathtaking views of the dominant cliffs covered in succulent vegetation with the fortress as its crown at the top.

We continue along the coastline until we reach a small secluded beach for enjoying our delicacies and refreshment. Once refreshed, depending on weather conditions, we start paddling back to our starting port, or reach our base at Karathonas beach, where you can enjoy other watersports, such as SUP and water-cycle before we transfer you back to Nafplio, which transfer is included in the price. There will be plenty of time for group and family photographs in the kayaks around the cliffs and forts before reaching our finishing point at our beach base.

Sea Kayak - Medieval Castles Nafplio Tour

### **_The Experience_**

Our Remote Islands Tour is the ideal tour if you want to escape the crowded and touristic beach of Tolo. Starting from the picturesque port, we aim to encircle 3 remote islands.

The main remote island, called Romvi, also known as Aphroditi’s island in mythology, is considered an archeological site, with rare birds and plants which beautify the area, and last but not least a Medieval Fort built right at its peak. The waters around those islands are crystal clear and take its beautiful colors from its white sand sea bed. The narrow passage between the mainland and the island looks like a passage from a pirate novel, which happens to be actually true, as the island has been used as a lair of pirates in the past. It is full of folklore stories which we are eager to share with you as we paddle. The beach at the bay of the island is our main lunch stop at which you will be able to explore the island, snorkel, play games, sunbathe, or simply admire the view, eating homemade traditional delicacies and listening to our stories.

The two smaller islands have small Mediterranean chapels, accessible on foot, in which important archeological artefacts have been found from the Byzantine times. We can visit both of them and why not try some cliff jumping from the steep rocks
