Have you ever visited Rhodes city by day and marveled at its picturesque alleys? Well, you don’t know what you’ve been missing till you visit the Old Town by night! One of our luxury mini buses will be your ride during our Rhodes City Tour by night, a truly unique opportunity to see all the sights and attractions in the heart of the City comfortably with a sense of lavishness!

Our enchanting Rhodes City tour starts after the pick-up from your hotel or cruise ship. We will be driving around the city, exploring the historical sites of Rhodes under the fading light of the sunset; such a breathtaking experience!

During our panoramic City tour we will be passing through the** Three Windmills** that were used in the past to grind grains brought from vessels that moored in the harbor of Rhodes. The island used to have a large number of windmills, possibly 13 or 14, but only three remain nowadays; all of them are extensively renovated offering an amazing background for photos!

The journey through the famous Mandraki harbor and around the formidable Old Town city walls feels like stepping into a time portal; you will be transported in antiquity, when the ancient Mandraki harbor was built and in Medieval Greece through the various monumental buildings constructed by the Italians. The Knights of Rhodes moored their fleet in this harbor that has become a home to modern yachts.

The sculptures of Rhodian Deer, a stag and a doe, guard Mandraki Harbor standing on slim columns on either side of its entrance, where the statue of Colossus once stood, as it is believed.

Passing from Monte Smith, you can enjoy a panoramic City view and sea shore view; see the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the impressive outdoor Ancient Stadium and the Amphitheatre. The Acropolis, ancient stadium and the Odeon (called “Odeion” in Greek) carry such a rich history and visiting them amidst the color of the sunset adds a unique, romantic charm. The panoramic view from Monte Smith over the New Town and the Aegean Sea is stunning, especially as the sun sets.

At the end of our 1 hour & 30 minutes panoramic City tour, we stop at one of the main gates of the famous** Medieval City of Rhodes**, better known as the Old Town, that has been characterized as a monument of world cultural heritage by UNESCO.

Then we continue our excursion on foot under the guidance of our Official Guide; for 30 minutes you will travel through the island’s medieval history by strolling through the famous Street of the Knights all the way up to the Grand Master’s Palace for a photo stop! Walking around the streets of the old town, soaking in the romantic ambiance and enjoying a traditional meal at a local tavern accompanied by live Greek music, sounds like a perfect way to immerse yourself in the culture and atmosphere of Rhodes. Having the chance to explore the old town further at your own pace seems like a lovely addition to the trip, right?

So we offer two options after dinner (around 21.00 pm): You can either continue your night listening to Greek music and dancing until 22.00 pm or you can undertake a night walk around the famous Old Town streets and alleys.

The fantastic night out ends around 22.00 pm. You will be walking back to our luxury bus with your Guide, so that we can drop you off at your hotel.
