Adamas to Kleftiko (Half Day) - Speedboat Cruise With Snorkeling

In this half day trip, Volcano takes off at 9:30 (or 15:30) from the port of Adamas. While cruising through the gulf of Milos, you will learn about the history, geology, and culture of Milos from the guide and enjoy the views of the colorful rock formations on cape Vani. Approximately 30 minutes from departure, you will have the chance to enjoy the emerald-green waters of Sykia, an impressive sea cave with collapsed roof, and taste a homemade meal towards the end of the 45-minute stop.
Just 15 minutes later, the engines will stop in Kleftiko bay, a complex of volcanic rocks formed about 3 million years ago, during the emergence of Milos from the Aegean Sea. The eye-catching formations and the numerous sea caves in the area, formed later by the erosional power of the waves and the winds, were utilized by the pirates as a boat hideout in Medieval times. You will stay there for about 2 hours, split in two 45-minute stops in different parts of the bay, where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters and explore the sea caves in two guided snorkeling tours, led by two experienced divers - crew members. Following the return from each activity, platters with fresh fruit and traditional Milos snacks will wait for you along with refreshments or a cold beer.
Kalogries bay will be the last swimming stop of the cruise. This small bay in the northwestern part of Milos comprises a contrasting scenery with greenish rocks and almost transparent shallow waters and it is considered the natural swimming pool of the island. In a 45-minute stop, you will enjoy swimming and relaxing in this unique location, guaranteeing this will be among the highlights of your visit in Milos.
Returning inside the gulf of Milos, the boat will speed down in front of the picturesque fishermen village of Klima, allowing you to get panoramic views and photographs of the characteristic Cycladic architecture.
Leaving you full of memories and impressions about the dazzling natural beauty of Milos Island, your cruise will return to Adamas port at around 14:30 (or 20:30).

**Any individual cruise may be rescheduled, depending on the weather forecast and safety reasons at the discretion of the captain. In case of prevailing strong northern winds, the ADAMAS-KLEFTIKO HALF DAY cruise can be rescheduled along the protected south coast of Milos, according to the following itinerary:
South Milos cruise (day 09:30, sunset 15:30): Paleochori - Gerakas - Kleftiko - ***Sykia Cave - Tsigrado
In this half day trip Volcano takes off at 9:30 (or 15:30) from the beach of Paleochori in the southern coast of Milos. You will meet the crew in front Sirocco restaurant and you will be transferred onboard. While in Paleochori, you will notice the vivid colorations of the rocks and the bizarre smell of sulphur, because of the numerous active hot springs submerged in the bay.
Approximately 10 minutes after the departure, you will be passing by Cape Kalamos, arriving at your first swimming stop in the beach of Gerakas. Located where the slopes of Milos youngest volcano meet the sea, Gerakas comprises a contrasting scenery with whitish pumice-sand and clear blue waters. You will have 45 minutes to enjoy the sea and explore the beach which is accessible only by boat. If you are curious enough, you can search for emerging hot springs in the right side of the beach! When you return in the boat, you will taste a homemade breakfast, and the cruise will continue along the south coast.
About 25 minutes later, the engines will stop in your main destination; Kleftiko bay. You will stay there for about 2 hours, split in two 45-minute stops in different parts of the bay, where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters and explore the sea caves in two guided snorkeling tours, led by two experienced divers - crew members. Following the return from each activity, platters with fresh fruit and traditional snacks will wait for you along with refreshments or a cold beer.
For your last swimming stop, the boat will anchor in Tsigrado bay. This complex of small bays carved in volcanic rocks, host numerous sea caves and undoubtedly some of the clearest waters of Milos. Boat access is the safest way to enjoy Tsigrado, as otherwise you need to descend with the assistance of a rope. You will have enough time to swim and enjoy the dazzling beauty of this place during a 45-minute stop and taste a traditional dessert afterwards.
***Upon the end of our stop in Kleftiko, the captain will decide if the boat will visit Sykia cave, evaluating the weather conditions in real time and always prioritizing your safety.
Leaving you full of memories about the natural beauty of Milos, your cruise will come to an end at around 14:30 (or 20:30), returning to Paleochori.
